Congressman being sworn in using the Koran instead of the Bible

I think, in spite of the fact that we are fighting with Muslim countries right now, that America was founded on religous freedom and he should be allowed to be sworn into office using whatever creed he chooses. He is not a terrorist. He is a duly elected official of the US congress.
