I have been looking for online jobs for a couple of years now and really have not found anything that was legit, most of the things I found are scams that ask you for money first. I seen some that do offer online work except they are not hiring and/or have a long waiting list. Currently I have found one which is ChaCha.com that shows some promise. But I'm still looking. Has anyone else been looking? and if so have you found something that is working for you? Would you mind sharing with us what that would be?

Yes the exist, but they are not always easy to find. I know people who work online from home and make $5000 a month. There are jobs out there that pay great, but are not that tasteful, and jobs that have many requirements. The bottom line is, you are not going to make millions of dollars working on the net for just a little bit of work. Just doesn't happen. I think anyone who would tell you so is a big fat liar, and if anyone can prove me wrong, please do so!

I guess I was not clear I am not lookig for something that makes millions or thousands, but something to supplement my current income. I work 2 jobs not because I want to but because I have to. I just like to find something that would supplement my second income. So I can actually spend time with my kids instead of working outside the home all the time. But thank you for your input

Well, no jobs are really secure, I lost my job of 13 years in august 2006, i thought I was going to retire, I am currently working 2 jobs because I was well paid in the job I did for 13 years with 2 jobs I almost make what I did for one alone, I am not looking to supplement my full time job online my part time. Thank you anyway.

yes genuine online job is very rare.i can only suggest a few.i got paid from ammas.com,a website where we can earn money by giving solutions to other people's problems and this is how you earn money.its genuine as i got paid once.next one would be mylot.apart from that i wasted much time in programmes which are scams.i wish i could have found these sometimes back in past.but this what it is trial and error and thats what makes you experienced.all the best to you.

Work at home jobs do exist. They exist in a rubble of scams and crap that will suck the life out of your desires to work at home. I have been forced to find work online because of physical disability. I have two online jobs that pay reasonably ( oh, and you won't get rich). Two places I use all the time are these websites:
wahm.com
mommyjobs.com
And some other websites:
surveyplatinum.com
surveysavvy.com if you are interested in online surveys.
Best of Luck to you. I hope that you find what you need.

They really do exist. But due to mostly scammers alot our now afraid to test work at home programs. You just need to have due deligence and think for real before going into this kind of work.

I do chacha as well. I love it. I can do it when i get home after my full time job. And ofcourse i have Mylot to make lil extra spending money....Its really hard to find good WAH jobs. But here is a awesome Website to find great legit WAH jobs... www.wahm.com
Also since i noticed you are with chacha, they do have a folder for chacha users. And here is a tip for anyone looking for WAH job...If they ask you pay a fee for materials or anything like that it is 99% sure that it is a Scam!!! I know of 1 legit WAH job that before you start working they will end up charging a fee, what company it is, i dont know. Good Luck to you tho.

Hi yes well there are a lot of scams out there but also there are a few legit work at home jobs you can do I just wish their were more to give us all a more wider view of work with home jobs then maybe it would not be so hard to make up our minds to exactly and that would give us all a more wider choice to choose from I am quite sure their are a lot of people that would love to work from home.

I have looked into many of the so-called work at home business opportunities and have not found one that is legitimate. It has cost me many hundreds of $$$ and I have learned a valuable lesson here. Do your homework, investigate and seek legitimate referrals from someone who has benefited. They may be out there but I have yet to see it. In my opinion it is the ones who started the "work at home job" sites that really make the money. The rest of us just pay like idiots to fund them and their lifestyles.

Hi there! I, too, have been trying to find a decent work at home job. I'm currently working on ChaCha.com and mylot (obviously), but I've also been thinking about getting into transcription for real income. In my opinion, ChaCha and myLot are more like extra cash rather than a supplemental income - unless you make elite on ChaCha. As for transcription, it appears that the pay can be good if you're a really great typist. I've been working on my typing skills and practicing on audio files posted on Mturk. On Mturk there is this company called Castingwords who pay people to transcribe audio files. Although the pay is low, it's good practice for someone who wants to get into the transcription field.
