Though I agree with you that Ganguly is one of the most aggressive and scoring players India has produced, I think he ought to have retired from cricket, but with with great honor and fanfare. I think he was not shown the respect that he deserves as the msot successful captain for India so far. BCCI should bave felicitated him grandly before making him call it a day, not just suddenly dumping him from captaincy and the team. he deserved a lot more. But as regards his present fitness, what we are seeing of him is a burnt up Ganguly, not the ganguly of 2001 and before.

I think Ganguly is a better ODI batman than in Tests, any how He got a chance in tests and he grabed the opertunity with both hands, he should be given a chance in the ODIs also

I totally agree with you. He is one of greats of the indian cricket but he should be given another chance get back his confidence.

yes,why not??ganguly hs been given a chance in the tests and he ws the highest run getter for india.he went through a bad patch but didnt deserve to be kicked out of the side.he had bounced back and has virtually ensured his place in the world cup.he hs shown that he cn still play those big towering shots that would come in so handy in the world cup

He is victim of politics and egoism. In addition to it, he was arrogant player and a leader who could not lead. Anyhow, one should thank him for good cricket he gave us and India did won several matches. I think he should quit graciously so that he will have some assignments like Gavaskar.

yes definitely he should b given the chance...he is doin well in the domestic level...and the replacements in the team...are they performing well...he has the experience and he was the most successfull captain of india...

i dont think ganguly should be allowed to play..he is such a loser..he played in indian team only bcos he had the support of that bloody dalmia..once dalmia was out...he was also out.. ganguly is out of form now..he really need to work hard ..if he have to even dream about coming back to first calss cricket!
