i'm an animalist and ambientalist, in your opinion why usa disagree with kyoto protocol? it's strange to quote leo di caprio words but: the hozon hole is one of the most important problem of our time, the rising temperature of the globe will cause many trouble and many species and also many cities will disappear! in primis new york, venice and all great cities in front of sea!what's your opinion in this way?

First,I am not against environmental action to stop global warming or anyother form of abuse to the earth, but the U.S.was right in not signing as there was to short a time limit, and for most industreal countries, this would be cost destructive.
if people would look at how the governments and big companies buy new techknologies and shelve them because they are to good,we would not be in this trouble.
when a suitable system is found, then I would see about instituting it.

The USA did not accept the Kyoto Protocol because we have a dumb idiot for president. Bush has no regard for the environment. As I understand the protocol, it would not have required major life changes, just a few adjustments. The world has to learn to work with nature or we will burn out!
