Planters Wart Treatment

I have two planters warts on the bottom of one foot. I have been using an OTC treatment for a few months. I honestly can't tell if they are really getting better or not. I do know that they hurt more now than when I started treating them. The only option my Dr. has is to try to do an acid treatment which will take several applications and at a $25 co-pay for each visit, I just can't afford that! Does anyone have any good, effective, treatment suggestions? I am pregnant right now, so some things are off limits. Other than that, I am open to anything.

Hi, I had 7 of them on the bottom of one of my feet. At first I had one that I thoguht was a piece of glass. I tried to get it out then another came up, then all the rest came up as well. The biggest one that I had was the size of a quarter. They hurt me so bad when I walked. I tried everything they sold for this. The only thing that worked for me was somthing I bought at wal mart. their pharmacy section has a freeze away system that costs about $18.24 It is just wart freeze off. Follow the directions on the back, and you may have to repeat it a few times, as I did. But I have not had one since then. It worked kinda fast too. It is also safe to use when you are with child. But I really really recommend it. I had to deal with them for half a year until I had the extra $20.00 to buy it. And I really did go through other products, cheap ones.

Hi! The first thing I would say would be to stop worrying about them until after you have your baby. There is just no sense taking a risk that something you use could affect the baby. The second thing I suggest is freezing them. I had plantar's warts and that's how I got rid of them. There are over the counter treatments that freeze warts now. I would try that - after you have your baby! :-)
