Have you ever seen a twister?

no because i must eat a bubble gum:P;only on tv:D

Believe it of not, I think I did. We were driving across country, heading out 'West'. At the time we were in the Texas plains. There was nothing but flat lands all around us, suddenly in the distance,I know it had to be miles away, we seen this dark funnel. I can't even imagine what the dimensions were, but everyone that was in the van and awake remained silent. The family member that was driving put the 'petal to the metal' and eventually we no longer seen that shape. But we didn't discuss what we seen until we were safely thru Texas and in a hotel. Now that was about as close as I would like to be to whatever that was and I wasn't scared I was 'TERRIFIED!!!'

no, not in my lifetime in India these twisters, tornadoes, volcanoes are rare floods are common

Ya I seen one on the Wizaed of Oz not in real life!!!!

I once sailed into a water spout to see what it was like. I was in a dinghy and sailed into the path of the waterspout and then laid the dinghy on its side and sat on the hull as it went over. Tremendous winds and very wet then looked up the eye in relative calm before the other side blew across. Awesome power!! Another boat with four crew kept their sails up and the spout broke the mast.

I have seen one from a distance. I was SCARED. I mean what can you do, BUT go hide some where and Hope it dont come your way???
