I've never lied on a job application or at an interview. You should be honest up front with your future employer.

I think you are right in most cases. It is hard to be 100% honest though, especially when recalling wages, names etc from several years ago but then you aren't really lying I suppose just not completly answering the questions or giving your best guess.

Well yea it's hard to recall the wages, and hours spend at jobs after a number of years, but you can easily tell the employer that at the interview.

Yes we do!
Dont you lie about your achievements and all and also at the time of your interviews you do tell many white lies, after all its for your own good!
You dont expect to write the truth all the time else your application wouldve been so small

I wouldn't try that too often -- it is bound to catch up with you soon. Especially if the things you lie about can be verified.

No, I never have lied on a job application. I don't think it's fair to yourself, or to your employer. If you have lied and said you were able to do something, and you've never done it, the truth will eventually come out. Then your employer will know with certainty that you have lied. I think it's counter-productive because you will probably only end up hurting yourself in the end, either by losing your job, or at the very minimum, your employers trust in you.

Yes, I have in order to get a position I wanted. It isn't right and I would never do it again.
