There are a lot of groups in the world who work to change capital punishment laws. If there is anyone, anywhere who deserves to die for his crimes, it is Saddam Hussein. Do you think someone will try to prevent it (through legal means, or "otherwise")?
Do you think it should be prevented?

I'm just waiting for when the Yanks finally hand him over and then for the locals to say 'Oooops. We've lost him. Oh dear'
Later he will pop up in a seaside resort in Pakistan or Lybia.

It sounds funny, but not completely out of the question. There are groups who would do a lot to get his neck out of the noose...
Even though we are turning Hussein over to the government of Iraq... I get the feeling there will be a US presence throughout the day. ;~D

Yep - I think the whole world will be watching with interest. There is a lot of politics involved so anything can happen.

Well the deed is done.
I expect he is a martyr now to his supporters.
How can muslims go on haj together right now as one big happy family and then kill each other at home?

I'm sure people will try and prevent it but I doubt anyone will be able to. It's been said he'll die within the next few days. We'll see if that actually happens though.
As far as deserving, of course. He has no remorse for what he's done and thinks he's done nothing wrong.
