Is there any way to check what discussions have already been started so the same ones aren't started over and over again? I've ran into several that were exactly the same. I didn't want someone to think I was rude for not answering their topic but I hate to give the same answer over and over since that would be cheating.

You can check with the search option. You can give the keyword of your topic and hence get results related with that topic.Therby you can avoid discussions which are already started.

That would be my suggestion too. Though I'm not sure if that's going to bring up all the discussions because of spelling errors, etc.

You can check the search engine, but when I do, I don't get too much that honestly helps me any.

you can search for the topics first that you are planning to write so that you won't end up having the same topics that so many users have already posted. that's the only thing to do. take care!

The above reply is about the only way that I can think of as well. However, for raising this topic there is a big + for you!
