Has any woman had a bad experience since having a hysterectomy? I have had a horrible time and its been 3 years. No sleep, have to take more pills than i did before they (the doctors) took EVERYTHING out. I feel like I will never have my life back.

My friend, I go through so many other symptoms it's pathetic. I have a hard time sleeping, hot flashes, migraines, illness and other things. I take 2mg of estradiol and effexor to help eliminate most of the off peak hours that the hormones don't take care of. I am also on Imitrex for the headaches. You will get your life back, it is just a pain getting it. I do know that I am happier now that the pain I had is gone. It's just getting used to my body again that is the con of the surgery. If you need anything let me know.

i take 6.5 miligrams of premarin, welbutrin, clonazapan (for anxiety, and sleep) the wellbutrin keeps me from crying all the time. I feel like my life will never be the same. Am I going to be addicted to all these pills? my doctor says no, but i've tried a couple of times to stop the clonazapam, and it was awful..

The clonazapam with the welbutrin will sometimes cause a bad effect if you try to quit one. The welbutrin isn't addictive but I will admit that it can have some bad effects if you stop suddenly. One other thing, careful with the premarin because it doesn't work for everyone. I became irrate while taking it. I had to change hormones a few times to find the right one. I promise it will get better. Just stay on the doctor about your meds and make sure that it's not the premarin that is causing the problems.
