do you feel closer to god. what do you do on a daily basis to get this way....what do you feel about that saying.....a family that prays together stays together???
i read the good book to my children everyday and my family pray together b4 we go down for the night....

I feel close to him every single minute. And yes, a family that prayes together, stays together. But it should not just end with praying and reading the bible. You need to be fed. You need to fellowship with other believers. Find a great church in your area so that you can learn more and be taught the great word!
