Well, being from the small town you are from, you choices are limited, but I would suggest you find ways to consider selling yourself to a potential employer, and showing them what you can do, and how you could then benefit them as an employee. Find a job or career you are interested in pursuing and go for that and quit worrying about others. Especially in todays Economy being able to show to others what you can do is what will help in the end.
