Malaria Tablets / myLot

I will shortly be visiting a malarial area, so shall soon be looking into malaria tablets. Has any taken any malaira tablets which they either recommend to take or avoid? I will be intrested to hear about any experiences you have had.

I may be wrong, but I thought there was a Malaria vaccine? Check with you local health department or doctor's office. I'm pretty sure there is a shot you can instead of having to take pills. I could be wrong, but just check it out anyway.

As far as i am aware there is no vaccine but several different varity of tablets available - which with differing advantages and disadvantages.
