What is the best way you have ever quit a job?

For me.... I called my boss a fat f*cker, flipped him off, and then spit at him. I know someone out there has felt this way about their boss at times and probably thought about doing something like that. But, that was my big "take this job and shove it" moment. What about you?

I've always been pretty polite when quitting. Mostly because I'm going to have to count on them for a job reference some time down the road.

Yeah, me too. But this was a crappy waitressing job. So, it wasn't some life changing job where I would need them as a reference.

One night after I worked a double shift at this restaurant they were getting at me for stuff I hadn't done yet... It was a really busy day and I started rolling silverware and out of nowhere I snapped, and flipped the two rubber tubs over spilling silverware all over the place while a few people in the restaurant were still eating... My boss came over and I stole a little from half baked, I told him "I QUIT! F- You, F-You, I'll call you later John, I'm out!" I have to say it felt great, and I actually had time to study for finals!

When I quit a job I usually give two weeks notice but one warehouse job I had I got so pissed I tried to run over my boss in my car. Had he not scurried behind a shed I would have squished the fat fu(|

I didn't go back, I left them hanging for a worker when I knew I was going to get the boot anyway. Instead my boss gave me a phone call and on the answering machine he told me to pick up my last paycheck.

Nothing exciting.. I went on my smoke break and never came back. They kept calling and I kept not answering the phone. The day my paycheque got deposited in my account they called again to tell me my record of employment and paystub were at the front desk if I wanted to come and get them. I didn't. They mailed them. It felt kind of nice not to give a $hit.
