I wan to know about delphi i think this is a programming language, but i am not sure, please tell me what is it and why we use it. thanks

I am not completely sure about this language. But i will try to explain about this language from what i know. Delphi is a language developed by Borland for Windows environment. It has got many similarities with Pascal language, object pascal to be specific. It is possible to develop cross platform application with a tool from Borland called Kylix. There is also a visual programing toolkit available for Delphi. In short delphi is a object pascal based visual development environment.

Weldone friend, but i don't know pascal and delphi language, are they very importand language, do i need to learn them? i am learning java,php,mysql,vb, please tell me which type of program can be develope on delphi or pascal?

There is no specific application that can be developed using Delphi. You can create any kind of application with it. The same application can also be developed using C++ or java or any other languages too. So application development is not language specific. Since you are learning too many languages I would recommend you to concentrate on any one specific language.If you asked me whether you need to learn pascal on the context of getting a job then i would say that it is not at all necessary. You may lern that language if you would like to get a gob in which you need to use pascal or delphi. You are already learning Java and PHP and that is all needed to get a deceent job.

Hmmmmm....Here Delphi is a radiator plant. They make radiators for GM vehicles...Don't know what else it is. I would be interested to know also.

In my opinion, delphi is a very nice language and also very easy to use, Its IDE is somewhat like VB but the language itself implements OOP, It has a very rich collections of visual components that could make your life easier as a developer...

I don't know so much on Delphi.

Pascal:Delphi=Basic:Visual Basic

You're correct.
Pascal is similar to Basic and Delphi is similar to Visual Basic.
