well to check for this there are two ways i know. firstly there are antiques books you can look at and they tell you everything that you will need to know and give a guide price for the item. also take it to a antiques dealer and get them to look over them. or call your insurance company and they will send a person to look at them and give you a idea what they worth.

depends on on a few things. what condition is it in. was it mass produced or a limited edition. the size of it.
