for me it is the Ivory Coast international Diddier Drogbah, i think he is developing into a great player and is certainly scoring goals

I think the best player of chelsea all time will be ZOLA , i prefer the old time chelsea then the current millionare team .... you just don't feel the bond within the players yea

From the post, I can see most of us vote for the player that can create goals or score goals. I had to admit that chelsea have a lot of good players. To choose the best player, it quite difficult for me. But if u want me to choose the important player in chelsea, my answer will go to the goalkeeper Peter Cezh and defender John Terry. Without this 2, chelsea is suffering, although they can score goals, but without the 2, they let in goals easily.

well, i guess at the moment lampard and drogba are on fire. Not to forget Ballack and Shevo. But after all, the team is not one man show it is a team spirit. That is Chelsea team. They are getting strongger, game after game because they have esprit de corps. Thats the beauty of Chelsea.

I think Lampard is one of the most overrated English players. Look at him when he plays for England, he hasn't got a clue. He plays well at Chelsea because he surrounded by excellent players who really are good... even I could play well in the Chelsea midfield although I probably wouldn't score as many fluky goals as Frank.
