What makes a good ghost story? Which one is your favorite

Every time my family and I go camping, we make a point of telling ghost stories around the campfire. We've kind of tired of the old "heard the hook outside the car" type stories...what are your favorite ghost stories to tell or hear? What do YOU think makes a good ghost story?

the best ghost story you may tell are the ones based on true to life stories. We have so many encountters of ghost in the old abandoned house at my grandma. Everyone's telling that their were ghost there, until I had an experience about it when my body was encountered by bad spirits and 7 evil dwarfs... hooo I don't wanna talk about this anymore, it really terrfying!

the best ghost story is based on true stories you have encountered. In our old house we did have many ghost stories experiences and I do have my own ghost story. It's when my body was encountered by a bad spirit and 7 evil dwarfs. All my neighbors go into our house to check for that and they found me lying in our bed with a big voice and very ugly face which they looks like not me. I've been into spiritual healing for that and it works for me. My situation lasts for 2 months and they haven't seen me for a month.
