Traffic

I live in Northern Va. I work about 27 miles from home and sometimes it could take 45 minutes to a hour depending on what day it is. And if there is a accident it's a done deal...yet around my area they are steady building more and more houses, apartments etc but not doing anything to widen the roads; If you have a similar commute is that also happening in your area?

Traffic is always the nightmare here in Beijing, especially in the rush hours. People have to depart1~2 hours early to avoid the traffic jam. That's so awful !
