guys i just read in msnbc that saddam was hanged this saturday, confirmed by government officials there. what a bleak new year for those who love him!

First of all, why do people love him. The only people who love him in Iraq are the Sunni muslims from which part he came. And then the people in Tikrit who benefited a lot when he was president. All others were cursing him and all were in joy when he was hanged.
Far from Iraq, people who haven't suffered the brutality of this cruel ruler consider him as a martyr. Such a pity.

Thats the problem. He never had any remorse when he had the rope on his head. He was infact pleasant. He has acquired such a brutal and tough mind by killing thousands if not millions, by his own hand. Its a shame that we shed our tears for people like him, when on all corners of earth, there are poor people suffering from hunger. We should care about them, not about a bully who used his power to depress and degrade a country and countrymen.

well, let just say karma is kaema. he should just be thankful that he cant be executed for than once in payment for all the people he killed during his regime. but i must admit the hanging was carried out pretty fast after the verdict. were they rushing the execution or what? thanks for sharing the news anyway
