Sounds to me like the dog is very protective over his territory, as well as the people around him. When you had stated how he had peed on you once I couldn't help but laugh. Once my other half had our dog puke on him. It was disgusting but we laughed about it afterwards. Anyways.. I think you may need to take him to obedience training before it's to late. The only thing I could recommend is contact your local animal shelter, or even your local pet supplies stores.. And maybe you can ask for references for trainers in the area that you guys live in. I truly do think obedience classes will really help him to stop this behavior. I mean it may take some time but it sounds like a really serious situation that needs to be tamed as soon as possible! You may also want to contact an animal behavioral consultant/expert, or your local vet, & I know a lot of people comment all the time about.. A television program called "The Dog Whisperer." A lot of people say it's a fabulous show. I personally have not ever watched this show but it does sound rather interesting & has helped a lot of pet owners along the way from what I have heard. This can be dealt with so don't give up on your dog. I think as a pet owner you just need guidance, patience, but also determination all at the same time. I'd love to hear if you do take him to obedience classes what ends up happening so try to keep us informed.. Whether it be just starting a new topic about whether or not his behavior has improved. I wish you all of the best. Being a dog owner can be a lot of hard work, but it's worth it in thee end. I hope you are able to find a trainer if you do decide to go down that road.

I have considered a trainer yes, but at this time I don't have the funds to do that. The local Petco has trainers and a Vet.But I will consider that towards the spring. You know my daughter loves The Dog Whisperer, but I've never seen it maybe I should.

Is that dog an American Eskimo? If so... oh boy are you in for it. My folks have one of them and it could be one of the most high strung dogs that I have even seen. This dog is crazy. When it was younger it would eat everything in site... It ate the skirt of a chair, it ate a pop can, it ate the kitchen floor, the living room carpet, and last but not least it ate a razor. Good luck my friend... good luck!

Snowball is like that dog in the commercial who just keeps jumping. He's nuts.He can jump a good 5 feet and do it umpteen times. When he was younger he ate everything but now he's better. In matter of fact when he knows hes done bad he'll punish himself and go in his cage on his own, and just stand in there and look at you till he can come out.
