Should Saddam really have been executed?

If Saddam should be executed, then people like George Bush also should be punished as he also is responsible for the deaths of countless innocent people in this world. Is the law different for different people? Let me know what you guys feel.

most leaders have a few murders behind them. hitler, fidel gastro, mandela, nixon, idi amin, king henry xii, stalin etc. we are too small to fight the system. but in my opinion saddam was heartless and cruel.
