George Washington, the greatest in US?

If i am not mistaken, george washington is the founding father of the country of USA. I never heard any other name that more popular then him. Is he the greatest in US history?

I do not think that George Washington is the only person to like in U.S. history. He is only one of many great presidents after all. Then there are the servicemen and women along with our politicains of course. :P

I think George Washington was a great president and a great leader,since he was a general I think and then he became president,but I think there are many great men and women who have surpassed him solely on the capabilitys of things that can be done now compared to what could done back then.
