So am I right in thinking that you consider a man who was responsible for murdering hundreds of men, women, and children without conscience and was convicted in an IRAQI court of law is a saint and deserves a place in heaven with 70 Virgins?

Then the first person to be hanged on this matter must be pakistan president mia musraffh. First of all you have to understand that Saddam Hussain was not a staunch muslim he never killed non muslism in the name of religion. And killing of kurds every country has the right to curb the rioters.

Farocop44, this is not the point. I think the point is that sometime, we all find it difficult to marry two situations together. What someone did and was never questioned, another person did it and was taken to gallow. Though in different situations, locations and at different points in time, yet, dictatorship is nothing but dictatorship. If anyone would go to gallow for crime against humanity, Idi Amin should be the first. He killed, maimed, and ate human being as meat. horrible and so annoying.

The AMericans weren't even the people that condemned Saddam Hussein. It was the Iraqi government that did. If I am wrong, my bad. But how can you go off saying that a man that is responsible for killing hundred of men, women and children - - INNOCENT PEOPLE, MIND YOU - - doesn't deserve to die? I think you just hate Americans anyway and you're looking for an excuse like this. Not all Americans are Nazis, you know.

I am not against american what they did in Afghanistan was right. But Iraq Invasion was absolutely wrong. And Killing of SAddam is in very poor nature.

You're right, we shouldn't have gone into Iraq...just because I'm an American doesn't mean that I'm all for what the President says. I can't STAND President Bush. But finding Saddam was probably good. He was a bad person who killed hundreds of innocent people.

I find the whole thing of Saddam very confusing there are Muslims who are cheering because of the things this man has done and then there are others who think he was a saint...very confusing to me.

The muslims are cheering because Saddam was not a staunch muslim like bin laden. He was very liberal in religion. He was the only one who supported India on Kashmir Issue.

i do agree to you my dear friend . they are the dictators i mean what do they think of themselves , just for their interests they killed SADDAM . who is america to tell any country what to do and what not to . it is very shocking how bush has doing things . i am indian (hindu) and we dont like his pressence in our kashmir dispute . i am sure americans will have to face what they have done for a long long time , and they diserve.

Sad news? He killed millions of people and ran a ruthless dicatorship. Regardless of your (obviously misguided) opinion on America, that doesn't mean they are Nazis or that Saddam was ok. Nazis though? Nazis? Wow, you must be either really bad at analogies or ignorant to history. Im betting a little from both columns.

Why the world is keeping mum on execution of Hindus in Pakistan. In 1947 Hindu were 15% but now their population is just 1.5% what happened to million of Hindus.

If you count Bushes actions (which I wouldn't, since he didn't kill or order anyone killed, nor did he violate international law or other UN resolutions), then I can count all of Saddams. I hold him responsible (as you do Bush) for the Iran/Iraq war lasting 8 years. Political oppression counts for tons of people as well. Wrongful jailing/execution even more. Killing the Kurds, even more. Kuwait, and the Gulf War. Add those killed in the current war in Iraq... If you wanna play it that way.
