I believe that joy is one of the key elements to raising children. I can remember my childhood and it was very joyful. It's like an on going spiraling effect.

You mean we should give joy to them or they should discover the joy themselves
Or it's better for them learn how to have a joyful childhood.
But sometimes there are too many restrictions around them, especially from parents,
teachers and etc.
