I think English is the most known worldwide. Many countries teach it in school.

I think that's probably English or Spanish, with German as a close third.

I think it's english. Mostly because of the internet I guess, and the movies too :P. Mostly everything on the internet is in english, and american people make the best movies. A language extends its influence because of something that is made exclusively by the natives of that language, so, it's popularity grows considerably

I am sure that at this moment the most spread language in the entire world is the english language. It is used in every place so everyone should try to learn it because it will help. But i have heard that in Europe the most spread language would be the german but i don't think so. Good luck!
