Why do you think families come to Las Vegas?

I don't really understand why people bring families here. This is kind of a Disneyland for adults. A lot of times I ask people why they bring there kids when there is nobody to watch them. They say one parent stays in the room, and the other goes downstairs, and has a drink, gamble, or whatever. What kind of vacation is that. It is suppose to be a family vacation. Some people actually let there kids go off, and run around the Las Vegas strip. Don't you think it is quite dangerous, not right, or do you feel differently?
