In case of child offenders amore humanitarian approach is required.
According to Justice Krishna lyer, the aim of crimainal justice to be correction informed by the compassion, not incarceration leading to degeratopm. According to him the criminal law in India should apra h the child offender not as a tareget of harsh punishment but humane nourishment
