Saddam Hussein : a martyr?

i have just read an article about saddam hussein's execution. a lot of iraqi's were celebrating but there were also some of them who grieved. a cleric at Saddam Big Mosque quoted that "saddam is a martyr and God will put him along with martyr's." he also quoted that "he has died the death of a holy warrior." for me, i think that the actions made towards saddam is Just. because he has killed a lot of people. i wont consider him a martyr or a holy warrior at all. justice is served! he deserves to die a tragic death!
