I feel India to keep silent the way the whole world is silent on this issue. If there was any consideration for the openion of India in the court of Iraq, India could say a word. Our policy and thier policies are different on these matters. In such situations it is good to be silent. But the our great opposition party BJP is protesting against the execution of SADDAM to please the Muslim minorities is world's first wonder. They are the people who can not tolerate if PM spoke in favour of minorities. They are the people who demolised thier Mosque to come to power.Today they are hurt for Saddam's execution ! How do you think this will get them some muslim votes in the next election? As the election approaches do they have some plans of demolising some more Mosques ? They would protest if Binladen is executed next and blame congress, soniya and everyone they dislike. What a hight of Double game ! When are they going to realize that thier DRAMAS have become too old.

I have seen media reports, and that says almost all parties have termed execution of saddam hussein as "most unfortunate". But remember they haven't gone overboard and condemned saddam's execution as nobody wants to get into trouble with america and rightly so.
besides i feel we have right to protest if we have a opinion whehter in favour or against somebody but i feel it should be done diplmatically as i any thriving democracy and not fanatically.
And i agree that what BJP or some parties are trying to cash in on saddam's execution shows their double standards. They dontr' protest when thousands of iraqis were massacared during saddam's regime. And even now when so people are dying inviolence in india anf everywhere in world including iraq they are least worried about that. theya re only worried is appeasement of minoirtes especially muslims. i think there strategy will backfire and evn hindus will not vote for them. i truely hop hindus and muslims see trhough theri designs and don't elect such people in future sot that their vote abnk politics will be defeated and will be thrown out. and we could get on with work of economic development of india and protest on real issues lije jobs, poverty.

Our political parties should not try to encash these things. Let it be ruling or Opposit party. This trend should not be continued.

certiainly supporting saddam is not going to please the muslim because themselves does not belive in the pollicies of Saddam Hussain. Because he was not as staunch as other muslims.
