Which band do you think Jack White is at his best in? The White Stripes or the Raconteurs? i first heard about him through listening to the White Stripes, but the Raconteurs album 'Broken Boy Soldiers' is also amazing. Tell me what you think.

The White Stripes hands down. Reconteurs are good...but it seemed like he was doing that just for a change he tried it got it out of his system and went back to meg....once ya had meg youl be back to beg lol

I like the White Stripes more. Maybe because their minimalist set up works so well--the heart of their songwriting is never drowned by their instrumentation. Case in point: "Ball And A Biscuit".

Broken Boy Soldiers is really amazing cd! But still prefer the sound of white stripes. Jack White each time more show your talent! :)

I definitely like the White Stripes more than the Raconteurs. I like the bluesy stuff the Stripes do live. The Raconteurs I like, but they are a band. Jack and Meg have more chemistry than that.

I think The White Stripes are a better live band and The Raconteurs are a better studio band. Both bands are both amazing, but my pick would have to be The White Stipes. I thought The Stripes last album sounded unfinished and didn't really hold together as an album, hope they improve with the next album.
