I think so. I've been surfing the net for more than 10 years and during the early years way back college days, I use internet not only for researching but also for searching friends through chat and email. I have friends from other countries and we communicate through email, snail mail, sometimes through phone call and we exchanged pictures also. Through that I have learned more about them and their culture. I don't know when will be the time that we will see each other personally but I am hoping that someday we will be able to talk personally.
