Without a doubt Tolkein's Lord of the Rings, have lost count of how many times I have read it. Am also a big fan of Anne McCaffrey's dragon series, always a good comfort read.

It would be the Harry Potter series for me, though I also like The Wheel of Time Series, which I just began reading and loving it!

For me, it would have to be the writings of Robert Heinlein. I've read almost everything of his, and they are fascinating, lots of action, everything you could want in a fantasy...his books are listed as science fiction, but isn't that what fantasy is? The first book I ever read of his was Stranger in a Strange Land, and I was hooked from there!..If you've never read his works, try it...his style of writing is unbelievable!

Well I've read many fantasy books over the years. I love Piers Anthony books two favorite series by him are The Incarnations of Immortality and the Xanth series. One of my favorites is The Deed of Pakesenerrion by Elizabeth Moon. There are so many different ones out there but those are my favorites.

DragonLance is one of the best fantasy saga. The first two trilogies are the best (legends and chronicles), some of the other books aren't so good (Hickman / Weiss' are on another planet respect to the others)

Some of my favourites are from the Forgotten Realms series. R A Salvatore writes the "drowe" books, the first one of which *Homeland* sets the reader up to understand the whole drowe culture.
I do, however, have a large collection of DragonRealms books, my favourite would be *the Twins* series with Raistlin and Caramon.
