If You Find A Penny?

Money is Money! Pick it up. I like to pick up change that I find and put it in my childrens piggy banks. My grandmother always would fuss when I touched a penny that was tales up. She said it would give me bad luck, but I would tell her, its money! yeah its not much, but not much can accumulate over the years. When you go to the carwash, there is always change lying around, my 6 year old LOVES it. A penny to him is like $10 to us!

i never take them even if i find them. i always think of the person who lost it or the next person to find them. maybe they need the money more than i do.

I always pick up pennies if I see them on the ground. And I say that saying that someone else already said. Except it doesn't usually bring me good luck. But it might one of these times.lol. I have a big jar full of pennies and when it is completely full, we take it to the bank and get cash. I do this with all my change too.

If I see a penny I pick it up because I also believe in the saying " See a penny, pick it up, have good luck". A long time ago I remember watching a television show where they stated if someone had the opportunity to walk in every area of the world and pick up every penny they see on the ground they would be quite a rich person.

Money is money, I pick them up, usually I point them out to my kids if they are with me. They are still at the age that a penny makes you rich!

I pick it up. Even if it's tails up, I'm luckier than I was before I found it - I have more money. If you find a penny every day, you have enough for a few things off the dollar menu at McDonald's...

I belong to the third category..I always pick it up as I think it is a small blessing waiting to be found lol.I always believed pennies make pounds and I often give to good causes so I don't like to waste anything. I know people might think I am a tramp lol but I do it for good luck. What do you do by the way? Do you ignore it and walk on?

pick it up because its a money and give it to some poor person because the money i will get on street i will never use it because its can hepl poor people and it is felt their for some poor people so i will like to give it to some poor people

pennies i usually don't bother with-but if it's a silver coin, i'll pick it up.i don't see coins on the ground that much in general anymore.i guess people are more careful now LOL

LOL intresting options hey well i would pick it up as it is money and god knows what we all do to earn that lil bit extra and finding a penny is a bonus and brings good luck as you say it is money and you found it while walking so it is good to begin your day with and it will also help me being positive all day as it was a positive start to the day and finally it is money and we need to respect it no matter how lower the form cos money is money and we all know how important it is.

Just pick it up. It's my lucky day. a penny is worth saving. :) at least i think so.

Hi Sutan74. Thank you for all your responses. First of all I am from South Africa in Johannesburg. The weather here is very nice warm summers and not too cold winters. I am married for 21 years and have no children, but 2 dogs. (collie and boxer) When I find money on the street I certainly pick it up, I call it my lucky money and I must admit that I found quite a lot. (once some very old coins stuck behind a fence in a shopping centre, I do not know what made me look there, but I did). I put it in my ashtray in the car as this is luck. I sometimes give it away to and then you do not loose your luck, but you also give the other person luck. Thanks again.

I'm definitely the number 3. I wonder how much I have made just by picking up pennies and other change alone in my lifetime. I actually found a quarter yesterday, and that was really exciting! Lol.

I always pick up any money I find on the groud . Money is money and even the pennies will add up over a period of time . I don't believe in wasting money when it is so hard to have to work for each day , online we often work for pennies a day , yet we still do it because we know that these pennies from today will earn into dollars for tomorrow .

I will choose option 1 and i wil behave in that manner only.Many a time i see it but never pick it up.May be its due to shyness to pick it up from road where people passby.

I pick pennies up. I don't buy into the heads up/heads down thing. When picking up a penny, I usually say, "Look, I just doubled my take home pay". lol
