How do you keep your holiday weight off

I love holiday, especially winter holidays. Thanks Giving, Christmas, New Year etc. You spend time with family and friends, get to eat great food, stay warm and play board games in front of the fireplace... What a great life. But after staying inside for almost a month, or maybe more, how to you maintain your weight?? I mean, it is very cold in the Northeastern part of the country; it is hard to motivate yourself to jog in the morning. And for people like me who have a sweet tooth, just can't resist the holiday cakes and cookies, how do you guys keep the weight off? Or you just don't care?? For me, I try to do yoga everyday for at least 30 minutes.
