Facebook vs Myspace

I usually to like Facebook better because it is just for college, but now everyone can have a facebook, no more college e-mail to register, so it is turning like myspace. Not so special anymore. And for myspace, I just never like it.

I like Facebook better. It's friendly, clean, and secure. Only the people that you want to see your profile can see it. I'm just used to it more now, since I didn't really use MySpace before.

I would have to say Myspace based on only that I have never used Facebook before and only just heard about it til today in the newspaper and from your post. I have used Myspace before and it was interesting but I cancelled it due to lack of interest and a lot of bad publicity on that site.

With these two, I would have to say Myspace. Facebook is great to find friends from school and around the area, but now recently has gotten, well to "stalkerish". Myspace has more features, better photo and comment control, and overall more popular.

I have both Facebook and Myspace. I think Facebook is better because it is easy to use. It seems more organized. Myspace seems all over the place. WIth the flashy backgrounds and pictures makes it seem trashy. Plus Myspace has alot of users that try to get to join their dating websites, etc.

I just opened an account in facebook and it seems so boring... I do not even know what to do... I just like it because I can add people I want and I know very easily, while in myspace there are too many pervert people and there is people that creates fake profiles of other people, however, I think it entertains better than facebook. Something that I do not like about myspace is that updates its data very often and it makes my computer slow.

i hate facebook, even though i have one. i only have it to meet new people at school. myspace is way better, because i can constantly discover new bands to listen to.

The best thing about facebook (over myspace) is that you cannot customize your profile to make it obnoxious and illegible. That drives me nuts!

i think you should try www.ppooll.com it is better and more useful it is something like wikipedia but you search for people in it. and you can add your friends, ex girl friends name and add comments about them. then it sends them mail about the comments. great just try it.www.ppooll.com

I believe that it depends on which one you were on first...I was on facebook first so I perfer FB over myspace...i like Myspace but I don't visit it as often as facebook....I liked Facebook MORE when it was just a social network for College students, Alumni, & Staff...but I still perfer it over Mypsace... all of my friends that were on myspace before facebook tend to perfer it over FB...but i accreit it to what u were intoduced to first

MySpace is a lot better! I don't think Facebook is actually that good.

i like facebook better. you don't just add people to add people. you know them. and you can find people from high school that you haven't seen for 7 years.

I find facebook a better site most likely because of the amount of people i have managed to find that i haven't talked to in years. It's a good way to see how people are doing that you haven't heard from in awhile and good for keeping in contact with people.

I think with Myspace you can do a lot more. But Facebook is better organized for college.

I actually like Facebook more. I've been using it longer and am a lor more familiar with it, but besides that, MySpace tends to provide me with less information. There are certain people on there whose blogs I keep up with, but Facebook is much better about keeping me updated on who's up to what, where, etc. It's also a lot easier to find people on Facebook, since you can't just go by a nickname or other screen name.

I prefer facebook. Some myspace pages take FOREVER to load because of the songs, movies, and pictures on there.

I definitely like facebook better because I feel it is more legit as far as who all can get on there. As far as I know, you gotta be in school and have an email from there, so it's not like you can be some 50 year old guy claiming to go to Ohio State as a 20 year old athlete or whatever. It's also more simple. None of that crazy customization like myspace with long page loading times, html codes all over the place, etc. It really filters out the weirdos so far.

Facebook is more for the older college students who just want to keep in touch with friends. Myspace is more targeted for teenagers who are all about expressing themselves. Because if theres one thing that myspace does that facebook doesnt is allow you to express yourself much more. Myspace has a lot of things that one can customize, almost everything actually!=]

I have both accounts, and I have to say MySpace is better. Only because you have access to many more people than on Facebook, which is a baby compared to MySpace. You can do a lot more with your MySpace profile, and you can customize it to your liking. That is something you cannot do with your Facebook. The one thing I wish MySpace had that Facebook does is the Status mode. You can type in your Status versus just seeing "Online".
