Is marrying in relation is good?

I am south Indian. In our society it is okay to get married to maternal uncle daughter's or son. My question is it okay to get married in close relation?

I AM ALSO FROM SOUTH,MINE ALSO SAME...,BUT I AM BOY .WHETHER IT IS GOOD OR NOT SHOULD MARRY BCOS OF REALTION.TO MAKE RELATION HAPPY.
