If you happen to find a bag filled with 50,000$ with no name and any identification who it belongs to, will it you keep it yourself or turn it over to the nearest police station?

Well, since that amount is Grand Theft, no matter how it is acquired the best course of action is to turn it in. At the very least one can hope for a finders fee or reward, or at the very best no one will claim it and it will be returned to you as free cash. Odds are that amount in a bag will either be claimed or have been part of a robbery...in the event it was part of a robbery, keeping said cash would make one an accessory after the fact, an offense which carries repercussions which I personally would not care to pay. Honesty and honor would demand it be turned in, regardless.

thanks for the reply! But how can it be claimed since there are no identifications as to whom it belongs to? How can I be sure that the officers whom I turned it over to will not keep it to themselves? which honestly, I believe they will, not that I don't trust the system but human nature, you know.
