Christmas trees

i only put mine up on christmas eve dont have kids apart from my brothers visiting on christmas day so not a big thing was going to take them down the day after christmas but didetn get round to it for some reason this year just dident feel like christmas to me anyone else

Yes I have, today. I usually take the outside lights down New Years day, because I am off work. This year I decided to take them down 2 days earlier because it had been being warm and nice here for several days. Well I got up early yesterday, Sat. and started taking them down, then the wind started blowing, then overcast. Right as I pulled the box under the carport the bottom fell out with a BIG storm. It has now rained for 2 days so the Christmas tree and all the inside decorations came down today, new years eve.

I typically put the tree up right after Thanksgiving take it down the week after New Years. To me, that is when the holiday season is.

I haven't taken my tree down yet. I need to take it down pretty soon because me and my boyfriend are going to be moving into a house in a few weeks. His mom still wants to come over and see it so we are leaving it up for a couple more days and then we'll take it down and start packing everything up.
