How Many "Saddam is Dead" or "Saddam is Terminated" Discussions Does myLot need?

Okay, I'm sure I'm not the only one who's been a little ticked off... there's only "so" many ways one can spin this same topic before it becomes just a blatant attempt at hijacking someone elses topic... the original poster is now lost. I suppose I'll even be accused of generating this discussion simply for replies, but it's just not true. I'm just disgusted by how many there are... Yes he was a bad man, yes he is now dead, paying for many crimes against humanity although only convicted on one account, etc. Let it go. There will always be someone to replace him, which is the sad truth. One person falls, another rise to take his/her place. Stop the Tyranny! Stop posting about Saddam Hussein! Anyone else with me? What do you think about all these discussions flooding myLot?

No worries at all, it's just theres SO MANY of them... you're supposed to search before you post, if someone else has already started a topic which is that similar you should just add your opinion to that post that is already started. I can understand though ;) And yes, he did deserve it.

I am not with you. This is a discussion posting forum and people have the right to post their views on topics they feel are important to them and just becuase soneone else posted about it does not mean they are copying anyone else. Everyone has different feelings about this and therefore you are going to see many topics on Saddam, if you dont like what you see then dont read them, move on to another discussion it is really as simple as that. Who are you to tell anyone what they can and cannot post on mylot? HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Uh, I wasn't telling anyone they cannot post on mylot. Please be more specific when you retort! It's not about not liking what the person has to say. If I don't like it, I either comment on it or just ignore it. What I was referring to is obviously disregard for mylot rules and blatant plagiarism. But you are right, people have the right to discuss whatever they want, but obviously if a topic has been taken, it's unethical to repeat it... especially when the rules are spelled out when you join. It's not just about people having opinions. You're getting paid at the same time. And when that happens, out come the immoral people clogging up myLot with the same questions worded slightly differently. People can have their say about whatever they want, that's their right. Just do it within the rules and be ethical about it. And to those saying I'm just bring up the topic again, I think you seriously need to think about that. ;)

Every member of mylot has the right to express their view on an event. You just cant ask them to stop because you are bored up.You don't like you don'trespond. There may be a few copy cats. That is the problem of mylot.

Which is the exact reason for my post... I said nothing of people not being allowed to express their view point, but you still have to follow the rules. Once a discussion has been started about something, you're supposed to add your responses to that one, not start your own. People are free to say whatever they want, that's the great thing about myLot - but follow the rules.

People just want to get there views out there, what i am disgusted by is how many die hard supporters there are on mylot. These people are so narrow minded but i dont want to say anything as i will probally get a bad rating. There is also alot of bush hatters on here now. I think we will have to put up with it for another few days though just grin and bare it. Good post + rating.

No - rating for a valid response, just because you don't agree with me doesn't mean I don't respect your opinion. I'm definately not narrow minded, but I try to follow the myLot rules and try to make money just like everyone else, it just bothers me when I'm doing it following the rules and people find so-called "loopholes" and are not being moral about it.

Well, I knew there would be a flood of discussions on it, just as there was for James Brown, and Gerald Ford. It's news, and people at least try to come up with something discussion worthy. The thing is, why not take a few seconds and search for the darn thing and answer someone else's discussion instead of flooding us with the same thing over and over. If I search for something I want to talk about(that is why I am here, to talk, not make money) and I see it already started by someone else, I join that discussion. These are just money hungry people in the darn wrong place, because you are NOT going to make a fortune or even remotely close to it here. Now, with that said and done, I am going to try and find a discussion with some substance to it. It may take me awhile but I am confident there are still intelligent people out there somewhere..Happy Posting.

Probably as many as these posts: "what time is it where you are?" "what are you doing on january 1st?" and "happy new year?" Does no one know how to use the search feature?

And yet you posted still another message about Sadaam, just with a unique twist. I think most people are here for the money and I'm not sure how many people actually take the time to read many of the comments and responses. myLot is what it is. Do have a nice day.

i am completely in agreement with you on this. not only is this cheating but also becomes very boring to see the same topic again and again..

its the hottest topic to gather a lot of responses and increase ur earnings ....!!! i mean many dont even care that he is gone ...all they care about is his demise might just earn me a few dollars ....!!! the moment he was executed people have started flooding mylot with his executions discussions ....!!! frankly i think one discussion about him is more than enough ....!! but here i find many discussions regarding him twisted in a manner to appear different ...!! to some extent even i am disgusted ...!!!

Yes i think enough is enough, he was bad and deserved to die, and fair enuff people wish to debate this subject like any other. but to what extent and for how long will this go on for. I dont wish to say any more, as i had my say on an earlier posting about the animal. Lets talk about something else, something good.

I don't think anyone is trying to be ignorant here. Honestly, this is a big deal...something major that has happened in our lifetime. By posting, people are not saying that they are sad about it or that it shouldn't happen...though certainly some may feel like that. I have posted something about him...I think that, even if someone else has made a similar post, we are all going at this event and topic from our own viewpoint, and there really aren't other posts that discuss the way that we feel about it. When this many people come together to discuss what is on their minds, there will most definitely be repeated topics. Sorry if i added to your frustration. At least people are thinking, communicating, and putting together an intelligent short piece of writing. Some of the posts on this site are unbelievably lame in their topic and grammar, etc. This whole rash of Saddam postings is just a reaction.
