never doubt the word of God!! it is written in the bible (galatians 6:7) "be not decieved; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap"here are some men and women who mocked God JOHN LENNON he said "christianity will end, it will disappear. i do not have to argue about that, im sure about that. jesus was ok but his subjects were too simple. today we are more famous than him." he was shot 6 times. TANCREDO NEVES during the presidential campaign, he said that if he got 500 votes from his party, not even God would remove him from presidency. sure he got the votes, but he got sick a day before being made president, then he died. CAZUZA during a show in canecao (rio de janeiro, whilst smoking his cigarette, he puffed out some smoke into the air and said "GOd, that's for you." I can't even explain why he died. THE MAN WHO BUILT TITANIC after the construction of titanic, a reporter asked him how safe the titanic would be. with an ironic tone he said: "not even God can sink it" i think you all know what happend to titanic. MARILYN MONROE she was visited by billy graham during a presentation of a show. he is a preacher and evangelist and the spirit of God has sent him to preach to her. after hearing what the preacher had to say she said: "i dont need your Jesus"

Why is it that Bible citing Christians are so wrapped up in what other people say and do. Just because it is in the Bible doesn't make is so. Not everyone is concerned to the extent that it becomes fanatic. Bible citers are going at their proseletizing the wrong way. You can catch more flies with honey than you can with vinegar. I am getting a little weary of so many Bible citers who think that their's is the only salvation. Don't forget Christ wasn't even a Christian he was a Jew. And the Jews only recognize him as a prophet and not the Messiah which was promised. Just because others have a different opinion than you do does not necessarily make them sinners in God's eyes.

Oh my gosh, I love what you said. I am raising my son in the Word and its so hard for him to be exposed to all he is in this world, you know? He is 9 and 1/2. A few weeks ago this 16 year old down the street told my son he was stupid to believe in God. And my son really struggled with it. He gave his life to Jesus some time ago (I know he may seem too young to have done so but, 'suffer the little children to come unto me and forbid them not') So I tried to talk with him and let him know that these are the things that strengthen our faith in our fair Savoir. Then I reminded him of the scripture that says, A fool says in his heart, 'there is no God'. Well he that was just what he needed. He is very mature spiritually. In August of '05 he led his best friend to the Lord. ON HIS OWN! But this is all to God's glory. It is the Word, alive in him, bearing fruit. Thanks for sharing.

But also remember, many other mockers of God are standing here, still alive today. Those are good examples of why not to mock God, though.

What God are we talking about? You quote the bible so I assume that it is the Christian God that we are not supposed to mock. Do you show respect for the multiple Gods of the Hindu religion, do you praise Allah, do you show respect for the Gods of the Bushman of Africa. If your answer is no to any of these questions than you are mocking some ones God.

I think that all we need God in our lives. As to explain the sobrevivencia of the human being to as much catastrofes that it has happened. How to explain the wonderful system that exists inside of each one of us, where everything functions for our sobrevivencia? (heart, brain, lung and etc.) If you find a relative of a monkey well, I you do not find nothing similar to it. How you explain miracles in the lives of the people? Pesso that only exists a reply for this. God. It is above of me and you.

Would you mind telling us where you got your "facts." I recall Lennon saying, "We're more popular than Jesus right now" but the rest is foreign to me. If all this is true, where did the info come from. If you can't provide this, one can only conclude that your illustration is heresay.

Here is a guy who was a Church of Christ minister for nine years and became an atheist... www.ministerturnsatheist.org He mocks god, you would say. Me, I don't believe in any gods at all. I can't mock what I don't believe in!
