which kind of cat do you prefer to own, a female or a male cat? i personally prefer a male cat since they are more affectionate. I have 2 males and 1 female and the 2 males act like humans and the female acts like a cat, only comes out when she wants something

The males are tons more affectionate. No uncovered lap is safe! They say the females are sweeter once they've had a litter, but our rescue girl had a litter before we got her and she's still nutso. You can't pick what little face you fall in love with though, so you have to do your best and then they do come around when you least expect it.
