The Afterlife

What do you belief happens after you die? Is there a heaven or hell? Will you be reincarnated? Is any kind of spiritual, or even physical immortality possible? I personally do not believe one way or the other. I am very open minded though as to the possibilities. I tend to leave the afterlife to after life is over, and now live in the moment as much as I can. I do many things that different belief systems say may lead to a good afterlife, but I do them not to achieve a good afterlife. Rather I do these things so that I have a good life now. I do indeed hope that certain ideas are true. On occasion I catch myself concentrating extra hard when I meditate, or being very kind, or what ever because on a subconscious level I'm hoping for a pay off in the afterlife (if such a thing exists). It might seem contradictory but I am also very much into the Transhumanism\Immortalism movement. I do hope that we each a scientific or any solution to the problem of death, just incase I discover while I'm still alive that there is no afterlife. ;) How do all you mylot folks view death. Is it a blessing or a curse, or what? What do you believe about death, and the afterlife? And please explain why you believe this.
