Sherlock Holmes and Watson

Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson went on a camping trip. after a good meal and a bottle of wine they lay down for the night, and went to sleep. Some hours later, Holmes awoke and nudged his faithful friend awake. "Watson, look up at the sky and tell me what you see." Watson replied, "I see millions and millions of stars." "What does that tell you?" Holmes questioned. Watson pondered for a minute. "Astronomically, it tells me that there are millions of galaxies and potentially billions of planets. Astrologically, I observe that Saturn is in Leo. Horologically, I deduce that the time is approximately a quarter past three. Theologically, I can see that God is all powerful and that we are small and insignificant. Meteorologically, I suspect that we will have a beautiful day tomorrow. What does it tell you?" Holmes was silent for a minute, then spoke. "Watson, you idiot. Someone has stolen our tent."

from the 1st novel of Sherlock Holmes, we know that he has no knowledge in astronomy at all as his companion, Dr.Watson found out. he don't even know that about the earth travelled the sun which is very suprised as at that time in 19th century, this had been well known to all people. he claim such knowledge to be immaterial.He said that human's brain is like a little empty attic, and we have to stock with the only important furniture inside it. those who are fool take in all crpas inside the small attics whichch might means those useful knowledge will get crowded out.the skillful man as he said, is vry careful on what to take into his brain. he will have nothing but only the tools which might become handy to his work. all the knowledge that Holmes have r practical to his investigation. but however, Dr. Watson is not idiot, in my opinion.as a military doctor, he has also help Holmes in investigating some case by diagnosing those who are being killed or symtoms that cause wounds, or deaths. for me Holmes and watson is a great companion :) how u guys think??
