Sehwag's place in the Indian cricket team

Is it necessary to keep a batsman who has been out of form for past 18 months? Why the team management is not sending him back to India to play Ranji cricket as they do with Irfan?

sehwag will mostly not play in the next match i believe. he has failed for a long time now and time to move him back to ranji like ganguly n pathan.

Even I agree to you..But who will be placed instead of sehwag??Raina??Veeru is a liablity for now!! Just like smith was for SA. Once he fires,there is no stopping him. And he can even bowl a couple of overs. Now,veeru is in team only because there is noone to replace him. And Pathan is never an option as he is a bowler first.
