Do you buy more for your kids for xmas than you got as a child?

My friends and i were talking the other day and we all agreed that we buy way ,more for our kids than we ever got. I just the one from santa from Mum and Dad but i buy from me (usually times three!) and one from santa. I wasn't going to miss out on the credit!
