why some people sending viruses?

As i open my email this morning, someone have mail me with a message of happy new year, then i tried to open it, no viruses found so i download it, when i have to open it, shocks theres a virus, why is this? my anti virus not so good? But i keep on thingking why those people doing that, they really feel happy when they making people upset?

Im using AVG.. i purchased NORTON, and good thing.. it able to block viruses! And my pc is ok now.

Do not open an email if you don't know where its from. that's what happens. Have a Happy New Year, You and your family and friends.

I hate too the people which send malware to the computer especially viruses and other nasty things. I have a good antivirus which keeps every virus away from my pc. They send viruses because some of them believe that they are real hackers and can do everything with the computers. Good luck!
