Are our selectors dumb? Its two way advantage to have Pathan in the eleven. If he fails to ball he can bat also. This is my opinion, what is yours? I am not asking this to show my frustration but I am wondering why selectors feel VRV is better than Pathan. Any guess?

it is too early to say that
when irfan started hi scareer he was very good both in bowling and batting but now is is equally bad in both department. so i think time will tell who is better. but yes irfan is a better bastman than vrv. he so has that advantage.

thats not true man...irfan has gone even better with the bat in recent times...and scored a century in a tour game...just before he was sacked...his major problem is d bowling....his control is lacking...he just needs to work upon that n i m sure he'll b back in d next series

Irfan Pathan is better then VRV Singh because Irfan is a wicket take and VRV is not a wicket taker as u can Versus South Africa he take only 2 wicket and if Irfan playing he should take many wickets. VRV play 5 matches and 6 wickets it is not good and average is 70.00 he is not a good bowler and he is not better then Irfan Pathan..... Irfan Pathan is better than VRV Singh.

i dont think u watched those matches,dude...its not about being a better bowler....its rather about how they are performing at d moment....n irfan is bowling pretty badly to say d least...he gives too many loose bowls and hence takes away d pressure built from d other end....vrv has bowled well in d matches n he's been really unlucky for not getting more wickets....some catches floored ...some very close lbw shouts turned down...

mr pathan is better batsman now he has lost his swing and pace because of excessive cricket so munaf should be included ,a new bowler prasanth chandran is arrising from kerala

i will also think Irfan is the better choice, he has the good batting skill too. just need to give little bit more time to come back with his old form.

yaa..irfan pathan is a tested player ,,infact all-rounder..
but VRV singh has shown li'l to us. so..in my opinion let the selectors take VRV singh in and test him...for he hit six fours miraculously in a recent match wid SA.

vrv singh can not be compared to irfan pathan as vrv singh has still a long way to go to reach pathans stage.though, pathan is out of form now adays,he will strike back and again come in form.he also can be a good all rounder as his batting skill also is note worthy.

i think irfan pathan is better than vrv singh, and about allrounder we need a allrounder so i think for the world cup irfan pathan should be taken as allrounder not as a bowler, like we had robin singh for bowler zaheer ashish sreesant munaf are enough.

yes definitely irfan pathan is better because he know very well how to bat and this in difficult situation and also we cant compare in between then because irfan pathan is all rounder and vrv is just bowler
so there is no comparision in between them if u looking as bowler then also irfan is better
