Do you consider ethics a historical word that has little meaning in today's corporate merry-go-round? Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines ethics this way: a : a set of moral principles or values b : a theory or system of moral values c : the principles of conduct governing an individual or a group d : a guiding philosophy Most, if not all, professions have guiding principles set forth as standards for all practitioners to follow. Virtual Assistance is no exception. The EthicsCheckā„¢ Examination for Virtual Assistants assesses the Virtual Assistant's business ethics competencies in key areas, including: * Billing issues * Conflicts of interest * Privacy and confidentiality * Ability to perform the work At Accurate Business Services, we are passionate about following the IVAA ethical guiding principles. Below is additional information from the IVAA website about the EthicsCheck process, what it means for the VA community, and for you, the potential client.

the issues of ethics and caputalism cannot be seen in the same bag, capitalism is to benefit the few at the expense of the many, and how can this be seen as ethical when true ethics ius about benefiting all, whether animal or human, leaving n one out of the benefits. Ethics is the corporate world ios indeed a fad, the ethical producer may get a larger share of the money yet the capitalist will not lower their profit margin, therefore increases in prices on the market are used to make sure that the capitalist still retains profits. The question of ethics and corporate industry is the capitalists attempt to make themselves feel good at the expense of the producer and the consumer.
