How effective is it really when it comes to using manuer in a garden. I was thinking of starting a garden of my own but I want to know if it is really necessary to use manuer, or is there another means of nurturing my plants and vegetables. I find it to be a more natural way, much better than chemicals, and it's healthier for your veggies and your tummy too. Does anyone know about gardening?

why not make a compost heap mix peelings from fruit,and veg and other leftover food with dirt leave for about 3 months and you have a great fertiliser
